What is a VPA


VPA stands for Virtual Personal Assistant. A VPA is a helper that offers administrative and/or technical support with internet and telephone. The clients are often independent companies, professional persons or individuals where the employment of a full time person is not cost efficient.


Virtual assistants are already very well-known in English speaking countries. With modern communication technology the services through virtual assistance increases. 1998 about 1000 virtual assistants were counted. Nowadays there are about 10.000 virtual assistants in the USA. Worldwide it is assumed that round about 35.000 virtual assistants are on duty.
